MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Cardinals advance in tournament

The Ball State men's volleyball team knocked off Lindenwood Friday night 28-26, 25-23, 25-20.

Outside attacker Shane Witmer led the Cardinals with 12 kills, middle attacker Kevin Owens was second with 11.
Setter Graham McIlvaine finished with a team-high 38 assists while tallying six kills of his own.
Libero David Ryan Vander Meer and Witmer both finished the match with 10 digs.
The team finished with 16 block assists, half coming from middle attacker Matt Leske and Owens.
The win vaults Ball State into the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Semifinals.
