The all-clear has been given for a gas leak that caused Wingate Apartments, 410 North McKinley Ave., to evacuate and shut off gas to the building, a Muncie Police officer said.
The Muncie Police Department got a call about the leak around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Vectran Gas Company is on scene and has evacuated the building.
Both the MPD and University Police Department are on the scene.
The apartments are located at the corner of W. University Ave. and N. McKinley Ave. Police are directing traffic at the intersection.
