Ball State swept King tonight, winning 25-14, 25-22 and 25-17.

It’s the team’s fifth straight win and fourth straight sweep. It hasn’t dropped a set since playing Ohio State on Feb. 26.

Outside attackers Marcin Niemczewski and Brendan Surane led the Cardinals offensively. They each notched six kills on a night where the offense was varied. There were 12 Ball State players who recorded at least one kill for 44 kills in all.

Senior setter Graham McIlvaine paced the Cardinals with 19 assists before being replaced by sophomore Hiago Garchet, who added 17 assists.

The team finished with 7.5 blocks and had a .376 attack percentage.

The win improves the Cardinals record to 12-5.

Ball State returns to Worthen Arena on Tuesday night to face IPFW.
