Ball State's Pro Day attracts scouts from 21 NFL teams

Ball State hosted NFL scouts Thursday morning for its pro day at the turf field in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center watching former Ball State football players work out in preparation for the NFL Draft in May.

Former Ball State players included: quarterback Keith Wenning, tight end Zane Fakes, wide receivers Willie Snead and Jamill Smith, defensive end Jonathan Newsome, defensive tackle Nate Ollie and defensive back Jeff Garrett.

Members of nearby schools, such as Marian, also had former players in attendance.

The pro day attracted scouts from 21 teams including the Colts, Texans and Jaguars.
