MEN'S GOLF: Ball State loses chances to improve finish

Cardinals finish in fourth place after rain cancels final round

Rain prevented Ball State from having a chance to continue to move up the Mid-American Conference Championships leader board Sunday.

The Cardinals finished in fourth places overall.

After multiple delays the weather forced the final round to be cancelled and by league rules the final score is set by the final scores of the third round.

Junior Joe Gasser finished the highest among Ball State golfers with a five-over 221. It was the tied for the tenth highest score posted individually.

Ball State had one other golfer finish in the top-15 with junior Brodie Williams finishing tied for 13th with a seven-over 223.
