WOMEN'S GOLF: Ball State drops to third at MAC Championships

Kelly leads Cardinals with overall score of 155

The Ball State's women's golf team is in third after the second day of play in the Mid-American Conference Championships at Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio. 

Ball State shot four strokes higher than Friday and has a total team score of 628. Kent State leads the tournament at 612, while Eastern Michigan is in second, managing a 617.

Senior Brittney Kelly, who finished second at last year's MAC Championships, is in seventh with rounds of 76 and 79 to put her at a total score of 155. 

Junior Katie Windlan is tied for 13th with a 157. Freshman Sarah Westaway is tied for 15th with a 158. Senior Rachael Pruett is tied for 20th with a 159, while sophomore Autumn Duke is tied for 34th with a 167.

The final round will conclude on Sunday.
