Five teams from the Mid-American Conference are participating in postseason basketball this year.
Bowling Green, this year's MAC Tournament Champions, is a No. 12 seed and plays Georgia Tech in the first round in the NCAA Tournament.
Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State and Toledo are all in the women's NIT Tournament.
Central Michigan is a No. 9 seed and plays Illinois State in the first round.
In the same region, Kent State is a No. 12 seed and plays Duquesne in the first round.
Eastern Michigan is a No. 5 seed and plays Michigan in the first round.
The last team from the MAC, Toledo is a No. 2 seed and plays Delaware in the first round of the NIT.
