MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cardinals look to rebound against Bobcats

BSU to host Ohio after first MAC loss

Ball State (13-6, 5-1 Mid-American Conference) continues its home stand as they host Ohio (9-11, 2-4 MAC) today.

Ball State is coming off its first MAC loss on the season, 66-53, to Kent State Thursday night.

D.J. Cooper for the Bobcats and Jarrod Jones for the Cardinals were both Preseason All-MAC selections.

Cooper averages 17.7 points per game while bringing down almost six boards.

DeVaughn Washington averages 11.5 a night and Tommy Freeman chips in 10.6 for Ohio.

Jones brings in 15.1 points of his own and averages 8.6 rebounds.

Juawan Scaife also averages 11.5 per contest while Randy Davis brings in 10.2 for Ball State.

The Bobcats average 74.1 points per game and the Cardinals average 67.3.

Ball State will try to break a two-game losing streak against the Bobcats. Ohio broke its three-game losing streak Wednesday night when they defeated Eastern Michigan, 79-65.
