The Ball State cross-country team will travel to Indiana State on Friday for the Sycamore Pride race as its second meet of the season.
The Cardinals are coming off a strong showing at the Great American Legends Race on Sept. 3. Senior Ali Bishel finished fifth with a time of 18:37. The meet wasn't scored for teams, but Ball State had six runners finish in the top 15.
The Sycamore Pride race begins at 4:30 p.m. on the same course this year's NCAA National Championships will be held.

Closing out their season at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio, Ball State’s young squad had a lot to prove.

Delta will be on the road for its next contest against Hoosier Heritage Conference rival Shelbyville April 23 at 6 p.m. Muncie Central will travel to Muncie Burris for its next matchup, also April 23 at 6 p.m.
